SUMMER SCHOOL FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS
For five summers, Thomas had the opportunity to work as a faculty member at Summer School for the Performing Arts (SSPA), a six-week theatre program for students ages 8-15 in Westford, MA. Each summer provided the opportunity to work on two full-scale musicals on top of programming workshops. His time at SSPA culminated in his final year, directing the world premiere of Amy Keum’s musical Yellow Fever. Thomas loved the chance to develop new work and educate young artists.
